Major Modifications (small ones too numerous to list!)

Tear out the aft head & shower (who needs two!) and install freezer and microwave and continue countertop and cabinets to aft bulkhead

Install 4 new L16 batteries in keel sump and upgrade inverter to Freedom 20

Replace wheel and binnacle with stainless steel telescoping tiller and add all new engine instruments and controls

Design, build and install 5 new aluminium fuel tanks in addition to the original for a total fuel capacity of 208 gal.

Design, build and install new manifold for fuel pick-up and transfer

Install generator in aft port lazarette

Design, build and install custom water maker (22gph at 800 psi)

Design and build a telescoping spinnaker pole

Design, build and install stainless steel arch for outboard engine hoist, mainsheet traveller, and probably lots of useful reasons
we'll discover as we go!  The arch also incorporates the bimini rail and elevated corner throne seats

Replace wooden hand rails on deck with stainless steel rails

Mount self-tailing winches and rope clutches on mast with totally heavy duty slab reefing system

Install new Sprint 1000 windlass after the original one died, but this
entailed, as usual, a host of other modifications like moving the gas water heater
to allow the anchor chain and line to fall into the space behind the shower

20" TV-VCR, 6 speaker DVD surround sound system, this 1.4Ghz Dell desktop with plasma monitor

SSB radio telephone with antenna tuner

Haul boat and strip bottom to gel-coat, remove seven through hulls (one, the head exhaust, was moved to the starboard side),
new barrier coat and lots of Trinidad (all sprayed on and glass smooth) and a new 3-blade Max-Prop

Replace all fuel and water
plumbing fittings with DOT brass compression fittings

Convert starboard aft  berth  into a garage with sea-going toolbox cabinet

Replace all chrome-zinc deck fittings with S/S and re gel-coat the entire deck and cockpit in a tropical friendly lite grey

Super bimini/canopy

I don't have to tell you that Dave has done most of this work himself!
